Achievements/History of piping career:

Stephen joined the band just after the 2008 season, and as well as playing for the bands above he practiced with Grampian Police and Buchan while living and studying in Aberdeen, and briefly played with Stockholm Engineers while living in Sweden.

His achievements include a number of solo prizes as a junior solo piper, and winning Cowal with Arbroath RBLS in 2000 in the Novice Juvenile grade. He also won Champion of Champions with Arbroath in Grade 4B the next year.

Stephen’s other achievements include taking part in the 10, 000 Pipes and Drums massed bands march through Edinburgh, competing in Grade 1, being one of the faces of the Scottish Homecoming Celebrations in 2009 (The Leaping Pipers), and being one of four pipers invited by the Scottish Executive to represent Scotland at the Tartan Day celebration in Paris in 2005.
