of piping career: |
Roddy
is one of only four current band members who were part of the World Champions
and Champion of Champions Novice Juvenile band from 1998. He has played at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo four times,
and took over Tayforth P&D for a year as Acting Pipe Major for the
2003-2004 Season. Achievements include winning the solo hornpipe and jig
competition at Ex Northern Lights in 2002, being part of the TA Championship
quartet winners in 2001, and winning the full band competition at Ex Northern
Lights in 2003 and 2005. |
