Jim is our current Band President, and was previously a leading drummer of the band. His many achievements include winning the Boys Brigade solo drumming as a youngster, winning the Dundee, Perth and Angus solo drumming, and winning every championship in Grade 2 with the MacKenzie, which meant being upgraded to Grade 1. According to Jim, the highlight of his career was when he was voted in as the Band President.

Jim is MacKenzie daft, and you won’t find a more enthusiastic supporter of the band. He’s also the man who looks after the trophies; you’re lucky if you get near one before he whisks it away!
