First win in Grade 2! The band got first prize at Bathgate Highland Games on Saturday, with a second for Piping and a first for Drumming!

Well done to band member Kyle Howie who achieved 1st place in the Jig at the Junior Piping Competition, which was held at the Piping Centre in Glasgow recently!

Well done to all band members who played at the Branch solos at Edzell at the weekend, a number of whom got themselves on the prize list. We've been upgraded! After an extremely successful season which included winning four major championships, the RSPBA music board have decided to promote the band from Grade 3A to Grade 2! It's great to be finally be back after 4 seasons rebuilding and improving in Grade 3A, and we're looking forward to the challenge! All 2008 regradings here.

The Grade 3A band won the 2008 Cowal Pipe Band Championships, making it four major championship wins in a row! Two seconds for Piping, first for Ensemble and third for Drumming! Pictures and video will be added soon.

The Grade 3A band won the 2008 World Pipe Band Championships! Two firsts for Piping, first for Ensemble and second for Drumming! The Nov Juvs also put in a very good performance, coming 8th overall. Pictures have been added to the Multimedia section and lots of Youtube stuff can be found here.

Following a great result at the Worlds, the Grade 3A band acheived 2nd Place at Cowal, and were again first place in Piping and Ensemble! This years results for both bands here.

After a relatively quiet season, The band put in a good performance
at Crieff Highland Games and managed to get a 3rd place in grade 3.
The novice juvenile band also played very well at Crieff, in their first
competition since Pipe Major Anne Spalding returned to the band. |
